We’ve been pioneers in using ceramic thin slabs for the design and production of furnishings, first and foremost bath and kitchen tops. Looking at a Technolam piece of furniture means to understand the evolution of slim porcelain slab, experiencing the transformation of what is considered a rigid material by the most into harmonious forms with a strong aesthetic personality. Each single furnishing element is the result of our know-how, of a careful thinking about design and technology, about the need of a perfect symbiotic relation between beauty and function, as perfect as the fusion of joint marks in each of our elements. Such a result requires care of every detail and an experience gained over an incessant work of experimentation.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Our vanity and kitchen tops are made with slabs in 7 mm thickness. Surprisingly light, they can be placed directly on your furniture or hanged on the wall by means of concealed brackets. The inner structure is made of galvanized aluminum bars 5×5 cm x 3 mm thickness, glued with special transparent resins near the joints and, in case of particularly long elements, centrally at the top, as well. Lastly, the brackets previously fixed to the wall can lodge inside the bars. The inner aluminum system is particularly suitable to strengthen corners, inner and outer edges, subject to greater stress, and it guarantees the right support even in case of suspended tops and shelves.
